TENCANPLANETARY BALL MILLS

Tea leaves: a recorded 200-mesh result after two hours.

Tea leaves: a recorded 200-mesh result after two hours. Meet the stated 200-mesh requirement.

Sample assessment

The feed was tea leaves. The record compares agate and zirconia media entries but does not fully separate their loads or individual results.

Analyst consideration: For tea leaves, media choice should consider both fibrous fragmentation and the contact material acceptable to the intended use. The favorable agate observation does not establish uniform fragment dimensions.

Recorded objective

Meet the stated 200-mesh requirement.

Equipment and selection

The machine entry is XQM-1. TENCAN Vertical Planetary Ball Mill is associated at the recorded series level. No exact housing variant is inferred from jar capacity or an abbreviated machine label.

Test setup

Jar entryAgate250
Media entryZirconia /Agate250/160
Media-charge notationStandard charge; individual specification not recorded
Sample-load entry30 (unit not stated)
Controller speed setting550
Cycle notation5/1

Unlabelled jar, media and load numbers remain source notation, not assigned units. Controller settings are not certified rpm. The cycle notation has no independently stated timing unit or reversing definition.

Recorded procedure and results

An agate jar was recorded with zirconia/agate media entries 250/160. At one hour there was no adhesion and the agate result was described favorably. At two hours the sample was marked as meeting 200 mesh. No passing percentage or independent particle-size distribution was supplied.

Interpretation

The accepted two-hour result is tied to the recorded tea trial. The qualitative agate comparison does not prove that it is the best media for every tea, and the compact paired entries are not a fully resolved charge specification.

Practical precautions

Confirm which media charge produced the accepted sample. Record moisture, sieve standard and recovered fraction before comparing another tea batch or a different jar material.

TENCAN alternatives to evaluate

TENCAN Compact Horizontal Planetary Ball Mill. For this tea batch, a horizontal comparison can retain the one-hour adhesion check and two-hour sieve endpoint. Resolve which media produced the recorded agate result first. A horizontal arrangement changes the gravity relationship for leaf fragments, allowing a comparison of residual fibers and recovered material while the same tea and sieve criterion are used. This is an untested comparison proposal, not a result of this trial.

Association follows the explicit XQM-1 source entry; only recorded tested series/configurations are related. No jar-volume inference.
