TENCANPLANETARY BALL MILLS

Green-tea powder: accepted planetary refinement to a recorded 17.8 µm.

Green-tea powder: accepted planetary refinement to a recorded 17.8 µm. Meet the recorded requirement above 800 mesh; no sieve standard was supplied.

Sample assessment

The sample was green-tea powder initially measured at 162 µm. The record compares a preceding roller-mill sequence with a separately identified planetary stage.

Analyst consideration: For green tea, fibrous fragmentation and heat exposure should be considered together. The planetary size sequence and internal temperatures provide useful comparison points but do not establish retained botanical properties.

Recorded objective

Meet the recorded requirement above 800 mesh; no sieve standard was supplied.

Equipment and selection

The successful stage is explicitly planetary, but its exact family and model are not recorded. TENCAN Laboratory Planetary Grinder is supplied as a catalog platform reference only; it is not identification of the tested machine.

Test setup

Planetary-stage jarStainless steel; capacity not recorded
Planetary-stage mediaZirconia balls; mass not recorded
Planetary-stage chargeNot recorded
Planetary-stage sample loadNot recorded
Planetary-stage speed settingNot recorded
Planetary-stage cycleNot recorded

Unlabelled jar, media and load numbers remain source notation, not assigned units. Controller settings are not certified rpm. The cycle notation has no independently stated timing unit or reversing definition.

Recorded procedure and results

The roller sequence gave 151.9 µm at ninety minutes, 69.1 µm at six hours, 38.1 µm at twelve hours and 34.8 µm at thirteen hours, with rim adhesion at later checks. After changing to a planetary mill with a stainless-steel jar and zirconia balls, the sample gave 75 µm at sixty minutes with 50 °C inside the jar, 24.5 µm at 180 minutes with 57 °C, and 17.8 µm at 240 minutes. The result explicitly identifies the planetary stainless-steel-jar stage as accepted.

Interpretation

The accepted result belongs to four hours of planetary processing, not the combined seventeen-hour notebook total. No percentile or verified 800-mesh conversion is established. The exact planetary family was not recorded.

Practical precautions

Confirm the planetary model, charge and actual acceptance test. Record inside-jar temperature and distinguish the preceding roller observations from the planetary size series.

TENCAN alternatives to evaluate

TENCAN Vertical Planetary Ball Mill. A specified XQM vertical setup can be evaluated as a documented comparison for green tea. Retain the four-hour planetary endpoint and monitor inside-jar temperature independently of room conditions. A specified vertical XQM gives a documented revolution-and-jar-rotation baseline for fibrous powder, allowing its four-hour size and heat response to be compared with the otherwise unnamed planetary stage. This is an untested comparison proposal, not a result of this trial.

Exact successful planetary family/model not recorded; the TENCAN Laboratory Planetary Grinder catalog page is a catalog platform reference only.
